Abba Bendavid’s synopticon has served Bible scholars since it was first published. Realizing the importance for Bible scholars worldwide, these parallel passages in the Hebrew Bible are placed side by side and lexical variants between the two versions appear in red. The comparisons can illuminate differences in dialects (e.g. as between Kings and Chronicles) or between predilections of the respective authors. The first-time user may be surprised that there are other parallel texts besides Samuel, Kings and Chronicles. Bendavid has them all.
